Arun Deshpande is a 7 times Maharashtra carrom champion, National champion in singles, doubles, mixed doubles and vetaran singles. Multiple times he was National & International carrom coach. He also conducts individual coaching class at Thane for 4 days one to one. He has written 2 carrom books namely Carrom Technique and Skll and players’ Guide. Produced 4 VCDs on carrom namely Carrom Technique, Carrom Treasure, Amazing Strokes and Exhibition strokes for stress relief.
Suhas Kambli (Maharashtra) since 1979 when he won his sixth national title in 1992 at Faridabad. Suhas Kambli had won five national titles.

Anthony Maria Irudayam is a two-time World Carrom Champion and nine-time national champion of India. He was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award, a sporting honour presented by the Government of India, in 1996. As of 2007, he is the only person to have received the award for carrom.
